Seven Poems
1) A poem for Camille Landau
The human condition
Pay people to listen
We're in purgatory
Will you hear my story?
Everyone I meet is insane
Scratch the surface and find so much pain
But birds don't have money in their pocket
And butterflies don't play the stock market
They laugh at the hermit as I find myself
When I place the dreams of other men on the back shelf
We were born crazy because of the war
My Mom says Life is Beautiful - the ugly ignore
But I'm older now and I can't shake this fear
That we lost everything all we hold dear
So I sleep in the hills
Suffer the cold and the chills
Away from the world of men
So I may find Peace in Myself again

2) Inspired by Alchemical studies
Light light burning bright we studied long for this fortnight. To my surprise I realize the Love in adoring eyes. Power is as power does, reigning from below and above. We do not cut, the silence flows. Permutation with evasion doth we grab the serpents tail. Heaven sent us from the skies to wrestle, ponder this on high. So shall the sea drench the land, it's tide raising. Breathing out I grab what's left these long yearnings. Light light say with lips unspoken 'tis thee whose yoke hath broken'.

3) 'The rose'
What is a Rose? A Rose doesn't ask permission before it speaks, inviting the soft landing for the bee. It doesn't notify the office before it grows. Prick! The hand that claps makes the same sound as the other it claps with, not half as loud and not without. No, the Rose asks not for forgiveness, it is the one that gives.
Doubting isn't the same as explaining and amazement is more than the ringing in your ears. So tell me then who is it that speaks when You say so?

4) 'What's mine wasn't mine'
What's mine wasn't mine.
The blue winds unseen blow across our face.
The mettle Nature's built,
A good Home has She. Where were You in the Worlds touched by an Angel?
The Stars waiting, their chorus observing...dancing in symmetry...cycling in affinity.
Your dynamic majesty in gifted fields, glow with morning dew and spiders silk. There upon the winds we find my Love.

5) Egret
The proud egret recalls her ethereal, transcendent and ineffable grace.
Grey light pondering lonely people ever late for work.
Ah my oldest friends fixed furthest away, would you think of me as I do you?
Day I endure for tonight I return, with 'Someday' never far from my lips.

6) 'Avalon'
The lonely solace follows home, the trees know my call. Suns' breath risen eternal from each fall. Avalons' kings returning to thy sandy shores, not yet Arthur but for sincerest Parcifal.

7) 'Petals three'
Flowers of petals three, dance to the sky timidly. Brightest of faces I see in thee, for thy petals brighten expressively. Should the winds serene, whose course be barren would it be, were it not for the charms of your petals three.
